Nick Weir joined HTF as our vicar in September 2015. Having originally trained as a psychiatric doctor, Nick retrained at Oak Hill Theological College prior to working as a curate in Basingstoke. Nick is married to Cherry and they have three young boys - Sam, Ben and Peter.
We are delighted to welcome Mark Smith to our team as from July 2017. Mark trained at Oak Hill Theological College and joins us as our new curate with his wife Ruth.
Recently retired from a career in IT, Nigel is a life-long St Albans resident and has been our associate minister for 25 years. Married to Ruth, they have three grown-up children.
Oversight of HTF is provided by Dan French and Mike Horne, our two churchwardens.
Dan has been attending HTF since he was a child, having grown up in Park Street where he now lives with his wife Penny and son Matthew. Professionally Dan is a financial director for a software manufacturer. In addition to his role as churchwarden, Dan leads our Re:Fuel group.Mike has been part of the HTF family for over fifteen years, attending with his wife Carol. Mike is a retired NHS manager. In addition to his role as churchwarden, Mike leads our In Touch seniors outreach and is our organist.
We normally have two church administers at HTF. However, we are currently without someone to act as church administrator and Nick's PA. Sarah Gibbins is the Parish Centre manager and attends HTF with her children Gracie and Joshua.
